COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS - JM CHEVROLET CADILLAC IN LUFKIN
PROTOCOL FOR COVID-19 FOR JM CHEVROLET CADILLAC

NO CUSTOMERS TO COME IN WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT

SALES DEPARTMENT PROCESS:

Our process for how to properly handle a sales transaction every time, every day, and for every customer will be as follows.

JM Chevrolet Cadillac will set up a tent area at the front of the sales showroom that will serve as a concierge area for our customers. The customer will check in with the sales department while maintaining a safe 6 foot distance between themselves and our staff. In addition, our staff will be equipped with safety gloves and hand sanitizer. The customer will be checked in for their appointment via a mobile device.

Once a vehicle has been selected, the concierge will open the vehicle and leave the sanitized keys on the driver's seat. From there, the customer will engage in a self guided test drive on their own. Upon return, if the customer is interested in purchasing the vehicle, an appointment will be made with our concierge so as we can comply with 10 person gathering rule and a safe transaction can occur.

In the event the customer does not want to purchase the vehicle, the concierge will have the vehicle taken to our detail and sanitation department to be re-sanitized for the next customer.

Post sale, the purchased vehicle will be cleaned and sanitized for delivery. All keys and vehicle touch points will be wiped down for customer use. Customer will take delivery of the sold vehicle while all parties abide to the 6 foot rule. We will schedule a re-delivery with the customer at a later date to explain vehicle features.

SERVICE DEPARTMENT PROCESS:

When the customer enters the service drive, they will be greeted from a 6 foot distance. At that point, the service advisor will have the customer exit the vehicle and leave their keys. We will then sanitize and wipe down the customer keys and touch points so service can be performed. Service work will be completed by one of our trained technicians and the vehicle will be sanitized/wiped down prior to customer receiving their vehicle.

In the event the customer chooses to wait on their vehicle while it is in service, our customer waiting area will be constructed abiding by the 6 foot social distancing rule with a maximum of 10 persons allowed in that area at a time.

Our designated waiting areas will be continuously sanitized/wiped down throughout the day as various customers come and go.

As a company, we have implemented the following steps:

• Increased daily cleaning and sanitizing procedures that occur throughout the day
• In addition to our cleaning/sanitizing during the day, our nightly cleaning service is heavily focused on sanitizing/cleaning the rest of the facility
• Frequently sanitizing/wiping down the interior of vehicles before/after test drives
• Sanitizing/wiping down customer service vehicles before/after service work is performed
• Disinfecting service loaner vehicles before/after every use
• Hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes are readily available throughout the dealership
• We have required our staff to engage in good hygiene by frequently washing hands with soap and water for 20 or more seconds
• We have discussed with our staff the measures needed to prevent communicable sicknesses throughout the dealership and instructing employees who feel ill to stay home and consult their healthcare providers
• We will check employee temperature every morning, log this information, and have the employee sign off

Our customers and employees health, safety, and well-being are a top priority at our dealership. Now, more than ever, we are committed to maintaining a safe and clean environment. We want our customers and employees to be aware of our actions and be assured that we are taking precaution to do our best to ensure their safety.
